Dan tries to sneak through and Magnus spots him after Dan causes a piece of rock to fall, they start a battle. Magnus says he was training for the battle ever since last time, he updated his device as well. Magnus evolves Nillious into Hyper Nillious, then he tells Dan to reveal Drago’s new power, but Dan can’t draw out the power and evolve. Hyper Nillious’ Nova Burst damages Drago severely, but Magnus tells Dan that defeating a weakling is meaningless, and they should get out fast, as Magnus then activates the explosives to cause the volcano to erupt. Dan and Drago escape, Drago uses ''Shield Ball'' to hold the lava but fails and turns back to ball form, but Magnus and Nillious save Dan from falling, Magnus easily stops the eruption with Nillious’ ''Nova Freeze''. The Exit Team now has become famous for their bravery and even got a reward from the mayor, Dan is bummed out about The Exit Team, who purposely set the trap up, and there is no way to prove they made the trap as the lava destroyed the evidence.
