Suddenly,  [[Hal-G]]  appears  (as  a  holographic  projection)  and  explains  how  he  and  [[Alice]],  became  their  alter-egos  after  being  exposed  to  the  negative  energy  from  the  [[Silent  Core]]  once  [[Naga]]  tried  getting  it.  After  finding  out  that  she  is  Masquerade,  Alice  feels  guilty  for  everything  she  has  done  and  so  she  goes  with  Hal-G  and  they  disappear  together.  (In  the  Japanese  version,  Alice  goes  by  herself  as  she  says  "Goodbye,  grandfather."  unlike  her  dub  speech  "Alright  grandfather,  I'm  ready.")
