== Personality ==
Professor Clay was the cruel lead scientist of the Vexos and something of a mad scientist. He doesn't like to be disliked being bothered while he is working, during his work and is was completely consumed by his research, refusing to abandon it no matter how cruel his researchmethods were or how dire his circumstances were. Although There are no moral boundaries he tends will not cross in his quest to be rude towards put his daughterknowledge to use, Mira, and does not show much affection towards either Keith or as shown by his alter-egowillingness to create several doomsday weapons simply because he was asked to. He was also very loyal to Zenoheld, Spectrathough unlike the king, he is willing seemed to leave hold some level of concern for some of the Alternative with them as it begins to self-destruct, Vexos' members; he is visibly stunned when [[Mylene Farrow]] and saves Mira from falling debris while becoming trapped himself[[Shadow Prove]]'s signals disappear in ''[[An Heir To Spare]]''.
==Biography==
Professor Clay first appears in ''[[Facing Ace]]'' in Mira's flashback where he refuses to talk with Mira about the true nature the Bakugan she discovered on his laboratory. In ''[[Cyber Nightmare]]'', he succeeds in creating the first Mechanical Bakugan, Ventus [[Altair]] for Lync to test in battle. He, along with Spectra and [[Gus Grav|Gus]], analyzes a [[Gate Card]] from Earth in ''[[Surprise Visitor]]''.
In ''[[Final Fury]]'', Mira tried to talk him into leaving the Vexos and come back with her, but he had already become too obsessed with his research. Keith and Mira manage to get him away from his work when the Alternative starts to blow up. However, he pushes Mira as she was about to be crushed by the falling debris and becomes trapped in the Alternative himself. They try to call him back so they can help him out, but he walks away, apologizing to Mira. He is last seen watching a video of Gundalian Bakugan at war. Soon after, the Alternative blows up with King Zenoheld, Hydron, and himself on board.
He appears in a flashback in ''[[True Colours (Gundalian Invaders)|True Colours]]'', when Fabia tells the history of the [[Neathians]].
