'''Elemental Rare''', also known as '''Elemental''', is second type of rarity that was introduced during ''[[Bakugan: Geogan Rising]]''. Elemental Bakugan are slightly rarer than the Diamond Bakugan, and only come in solo packs. Main feature of Elemental Bakugan is the Elemental Character Card, special type of Character Card with no unique game features, that have faction-styled design layered above the card. During their initial release, Elemental Bakugan did come in [[Elemental]] Variant - [[Translucent]] Bakugan with faction-styled printed patterns in place of Bakugan's secondary color. In ''[[Bakugan: Evolutions]] '' they got replaced with two other variants: [[Translucent]] [[Flip]] Bakugan for [[Mythic]] and [[CoreBakugan]] Bakugan, and [[Platinum]] Bakugan got their metallic parts colored with primary color of the Bakugan instead of secondary.
