The story centers on the lives of creatures called [[Bakugan]], and the [[Battle Brawlers ]] who possess them. It is the first season of Bakuganthe ''Battle Brawlers'' series.
Though initially a failure in Japan, the series became popular in the Canada and the US, prompting the creation of three subsequent seasons, all of which aired in the west prior to its release in its home country.
== Plot ==
[[Dan Kuso]]'s life changed one day when random cards fell out of the sky, where he and his friend [[Shun]] . Children all around the world invented a game with called Bakuganout of these cards and the strange toys that turned into creatures. Together with his friends [[RunoMisaki]], [[MaruchoMarukura]], [[JulieMakimoto]], [[ShunKazami]], and [[AliceGehabich]], they formed the group Bakugan Battle Brawlers is formed and its members are accidentally dragged into fighting for the fate of [[Vestroia]] (the Bakugan's home dimension) against the [[Doom Beings]].
It is Unbeknownst to them, they would soon be dragged into a fight for the story fate of a dimension called [[Vestroia which loses its natural balance and merges with ]]&mdash;the Earth and many other alien planets. An evil Bakugan called 's home dimension&mdash;against [[Naga was tempted ]], [[Masquerade]], and decided to take the [[Silent CoreDoom Beings]]. So Dan and his friends decided that seek to bring back balance by meeting new friends and allies in take over the other planets, learn more about world with the origin power of the Bakugan; and facing Naga, who seeks to complete the [[Perfect Core]].

== Changes in English dub =Books===The Several Original English dub had made changes to the episodes when it was aired internationally. The following are:* Locallization of names such as Danma Kusou to Daniel Kuso and Phoenix to Skyress, among others.* Replacing Japanese BGM Language (composed by Takayuki NegishiOEL) books were published in collaboration with dub made ones* Deleting some scenes from Scholastic Books and Del Rey.
