MomoCon is upon and, and unlike Emerald City Comic Con, this convention has given us a lot of goodies and new info to talk about. This page will be updated throughout Momocon, with each event or information dump being organized by day. Some days may not have much, so don't expect giant information dumps every single day.
Day 1 (May 23)
Today started off with some heavy hitters. To start off with, we now have the checklist that comes with Wave 5 Bakugan. This checklist features numerous interesting points, including images of several new Bakugan (Cloptor, Zentaur, Skorporos/Skorporous, Lupitheon, and more). There's so many little details, check out the attached image and take a look.
However, the jewel of this crown has to be the completely new Bakugan, Trunkanious. On the middle left-hand side of the checklist, we can see an entirely new, elephant-like Bakugan. This may be the Unknown Elephant Bakugan we see in the show, which would thankfully give a name to a previous nameless Bakugan.
In addition to this checklist, we now have more information about the third card set, currently known as AA. If you read our previous news post from last week, you may have noticed a strange, Aurelus-like symbol on some of the late Bakugan Resurgence cards. Well, turns out suspicious were correct, and this "AA" set seems to be focused on Aurelus Bakugan, and introduces Aurelus Action Cards. The card of the day, Bodybreaker, is the first of the Aurelus Action Cards we've seen. It has a new card effect, Battle Mastery, which we don't currently know the full effect of. As of now it appears to be a "Choose one" effect, but an updated rulebook may reveal more nuance to it.
