The cold-hearted and poisonous scorpion whose big scissor-like body helps it evade enemy attack and invites the opponent to strike. It can also withstand enemy attack. Deadly, it can corner the enemy in four sides. (大きなハサミで待ち構え、敵の攻撃を回避してバトルへと誘い込む非情の毒サソリ。ハサミと両脚の4点で耐える「死点防御」で敵を追い詰める!?)

Borg Mahisas is the Guardian Bakugan of Karashina, a member of the Shadow Sanjushi.

Physical GameEdit

Along with Well Galow and Acro Gezard, Borg Mahisas was first released in BTD-02 ShutsujinDeck Shadow Sanjushi on March 24, 2012. It will be released in separate packaging on April 21, 2012 as BTC-43.

It is equipped with BakuTech Convert System which enables part exchange within the same type of Bakugan that two Normal Crosses (BTD-02) / Metal Crosses (BTC-43) are on its arms. Like Blan Shoult, Borg Mahisas has a special feature called 'Shock Regulator System' in which force at the lower part can be absorbed and transferred to the upper part, which is its tail.

EtymologyEdit

The Han character in the Japanese name of Borg Mahisas, (Kabuto), which means helmet. 'Mahisas' is derived from the Japanese for paralysis, 麻痺 (mahi), and to sting, 刺す (sasu).

TriviaEdit

  • Borg Mahisas is the first BakuTech to not have a unique gimmick - in its case, Shock Regulator System. Blan Shoult was the first to have the gimmick.
