'''Daniel "Dan" Kuso''' (Japanese: {{nihongo|Danma "Dan" Kūsō|空操 弾馬 (ダン)|Kūsō Danma (Dan)}}) is the main protagonist of the anime series ''[[Bakugan Battle Brawlers]]'' and its three following seasons: ''[[Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia|New Vestroia]]'', ''[[Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders|Gundalian Invaders]]'', and ''[[Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge|Mechtanium Surge]]''.
He is partnered with a [[Pyrus#LegacyGeneration 1|Pyrus]] [[Dragonoid (LegacyGeneration 1)|Dragonoid]] named [[Drago (Dan Kuso)|Drago]] (who eventually evolved into [[Fusion Dragonoid]]). After his actions in the first season, he has become a legend among brawlers from [[Earth]], [[Vestal]], [[Neathia]], and [[Gundalia]].
For the first two seasons, he lived in [[Wardington]] with his parents, [[Miyoko Kuso]] and [[Shinjiro Kuso]], near his friends [[Runo Misaki]], [[Marucho Marukura]] and [[Shun Kazami]]. He moved to [[Bayview]] in ''Gundalian Invaders'', as did [[Julie Makimoto|Julie]], who became his neighbor.
