Gorem, Golem in the Japanese version, is a golem-like Bakugan with a shield that can decrease the G-Power of any Bakugan that hits it. He is a powerful and deadly opponent.
Bakugan Official Handbook
This gigantic Bakugan resembles a walking piece of rock! Attacks bounce right off the tough and hard Gorem. The Ability Card Mega Impact gives Gorem an extra power boost of 50 Gs.
Bakugan: Ultimate Handbook
; Ability Cards
* Mega Impact: Adds 50 Gs to Gorem, and this ability can generate a resistant shield to protect Gorem from physical attacks. As a bonus, every opponent that attacks the shield will lose 50 Gs. (Subterra)
* Copycat: Copies an ability that an opponent’s opponent's used or is using. (Subterra)
* Magma Prominence: Changes the Gate Card's Attribute to Subterra. (Subterra)

Trivia
*He appears to have the power to decrease an opponent's Bakugan's G-Power without using an Ability Card, if his opponent hits his shield. This used as a defense by Gorem when a rival Bakugan (usually Cycloid) has a higher G -Power than him. This makes him the only Bakugan who can lower G-Power without using an Ability Card.
*Some Pyrus Gorem shoulder colors are reversed.
*A Pyrus Gorem could be seen in Dan's collection in BAKUGAN THE BATTLE BEGINS.
Etymology
Original Japanese name of the Bakugan comes from the word "golem", name of the mystical creature, artificially made to be a living being, usually from clay. Gorem and Golem are both transliterations of original Japanese name. Wiki prefers using prior variant due to it is the variant used by Spin Master. Other Bakugan who has different variants of writing it's name original Japanese name is Vandarus.
