*Iron Dragonoid was originally planned to be a Heavy Metal Bakugan in New Vestroia, but cancelled, making it only unreleased Heavy Metal. Later it was released in [[Mechtanium Surge]], but didn't get Heavy Metal treatment, instead similar to other Bakugan in that season sometimes having some small parts made of metal.
*Aside from Heavy Metal, there are other examples of Bakugan with extra metal parts: [[BakuTech]], some Bakugan in [[Mechtanium Surge]] as well as Generation 2 [[Platinum]] Bakugan and [[GeoForge Dragonoid (Bakugan)|GeoForge Dragonoid]]
*Of all the Special Attack Bakugan, only Heavy Metal ones were released with their feature removed under same name as variant with it.
