Jack was one of the four winners of the tournament's preliminaries, and advanced onto the Master Evo Tournament. He faces Runo Misaki, but loses due to Runo using the Daybreak ability and turning his Darkus bonus into Haos benefits. He then joins the crowd watching the final battle between Runo and [[Dan Kuso]].
Sometime during the tournament, due to the evolution machine, he and his Bakugan lose their memory of Bakugan and ability to speak, respectively.
