He is known to use two Ninja Techniques called {{nihongo|'''Poisonous Insult'''|毒バリの術|Dokubari no Jutsu}} and {{nihongo|'''Soothing Waterfall'''|滝ツボの術|Takitsubo no Jutsu}}. The Poisonous Insult Technique involves reciting the opponent's embarrassing secret for that person to lose focus on the spot. Karashina did this to three people: [[Tatsuma]] for his [[wikipedia:Urinary incontinence|incontinence]], [[Hono Moetaro]] for being unlucky with women and [[Harubaru Hinode|Harubaru]] for his short term memory. The Soothing Waterfall Technique involves the retelling of [[The Mysterious Master Jyou!|the sad backstory of Master Jyou]] to affect the opposing team's morale.
