Everyone has returned home, including Spectra, Gus, Paige, Rafe, Taylean, and Trister. As soon as everything turned back to normal, Mira arrived and brought her advanced Vestal technology to aid Marucho and the Marukura Corp into making the Bakugan Research Center, which is now the Bakugan Battle Brawlers HQ. Now that the Interspace is gone, the Marukura Corp and the Vestal scientists were able to create a new home for brawling in replacement of [http://bakugan.wikia.com/wiki/Bakugan_Interspace [Bakugan Interspace]] known as Bakugan City. Once word got out about this place, all Bakugan from New Vestroia partnered up with humans and are now living there. Shun and Marucho have new partners as well: Ventus Jaakor and Aquos Radizen, while Dan is still partnered with Drago, now evolved into Fusion Dragonoid. The three of them and their new rival, Gunz Lazar, a Haos battler partnered with Haos Reptak, are the semi-finalists in the current Bakugan tournament. After Gunz defeates Marucho and Shun loses to Dan in the semifinals, the final round commences. Dan and Gunz's battle is soon interrupted, however, by the arrival of four mysterious Mechtogan: Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor, who have come from the Doom Dimension after killing their creator, Fury. The Mechtogan, declaring that their goal is to end all harmony between humans and Bakugan, begin to lay waste to the stadium. Gunz, Marucho, and Shun are quickly defeated, and while Drago does put up a fight for some time, the Mechtogan gain the upper hand once more by combining into Mechtavius Destroyer. Dan and Drago suddenly manage to summon a Mechtogan of their own, known as Dragonoid Destroyer, and they use it to defeat their enemies. Mechtavius Destroyer is split into its component parts, which are banished to the Doom Dimension again, swearing vengeance. As the Brawlers rejoice, a mysterious, masked figure with Gunz's hair is seen standing up from the rubble.

He is later taken by [http://bakugan.wikia.com/wiki/Marucho [Marucho]] who tries to cheer him up. While on their way to the power plant Mira hides in the back of Marucho's air carrier to help Marucho and Raidzen patch things up. After listening she talks to Roxtor stating that she didn't have to come at all. Marucho and Raidzen are confronted by Wiseman and they battle against his Bakugan, Radizen is able to hold his own and beat the two, but when they combine he has a hard time. Radizen then fuses with Roxtor and is able to defeat them in battle.
