In Battle Planet and Armored Alliance, Nillious was a bipedal dragon-like bakugan with two heads - the left with one horn, and the right with two horns. Part-way into Geogan Rising, however, the design of Nillious was changed significantly, giving him a third head with three horns and adding an additional pair of legs, changing his body plan to be more reminiscent of a Centaur. Initially, instead of traditional draconic wings, Nillious had mechanical wings with turbines inside of them - this was changed in Armored Alliance, and kept into Geogan Rising. Despite this, some of Nillious' attacks are still seen emerging from where the turbines once were.

The double headed Nillious main motive in brawls is to kill - not to win. He does not like fighting as a team with his partner, Nillious is out satisfy only himself. He likes to go rogue.
