*Though Tavanel is claimed to be the first BakuTech Bakugan that can be ''equipped '' with six pieces of metal,<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20130709014325/http://www.bakugan.jp/blog/?p=17610</ref> , despite that being true, it's not the first one able to have that many, the actual first BakuTech Bakugan with six pieces of metal is [[Gran Panzer]], with two metal Crosses and four small metal feet. Tavanel, however, is indeed the first to have six Convert-System compatible parts.

==Etymology==
The kanji in the Japanese name of Sechs Tavanel, {{nihongo|[[wikt:統|統]]|''suberu''}}, means "to govern." Likewise, "tanavel" is an alternate translation of the Japanese verb for "to govern," which is 束ねる (''tabaneru'').
The [[wikipedia:Ruby characters|ruby]] for 統 read ゼクス, or [httphttps://wwwen.germanlingowiktionary.netorg/numbers.php wiki/Sechs sechs], which is the German word for the number six. It may be a reference to its six pieces of Metal Convert Parts.
