*Going by its code name, Serpillious seems to be partially inspired by the film representation of Smaug, a dragon seen in J. R. R. Tolkien's “Middle Earth” Series.

*Serpillious is the only ''Geogan Rising'' Bakugan Ultra in regular packs in ''Bakugan: Evolutions''.
