He first appears in [[Top Slot]], driving a flying vehicle while watching a battle between Drago and [[Fade Ninja]]. Shargo shows up later and challenges [[Dan Kouzo (Generation 2)|Dan Kouzo]] to a battle to analyze his strength. He asks [[Dragonoid (Generation 2)|Drago]] to join him and pushes Dan to a corner questioning how he can truly be a "leader" to [[The Awesome Ones]]. Shun and Dan feud until Shun enters the battle to assist Drago, the two Bakugan take down the Samurai Bakugan, where it is discovered that Shargo actually owns two additional ones. Drago and Fade Ninja use both their attacks to take down the three [[Unknown Samurai Bakugan]] and win the brawl.
