In Generation 3 Special Attack Bakugan are a type of Bakugan. Unlike Core Bakugan, their bottom halves are always made of translucent plastic, have a wide removable ring made for knocking away other Bakugan, have tip for spinning, and feature Turbine-like feature of large gyroscope inside that can be wind up by rip cord. Unlike Turbine Bakugan, their gyroscopes are way larger, alongside longer rip cords, which leads to Special Attack Bakugan, when wound up, start spin rapidly.

Physical Game

Special Attack bottoms come usually in three colors: Yellow for normal Special Attack, Clear for Diamond and Purple for "cosmic" variant.

Alongside a normal Bakugan Character Card, Special Attack Bakugan come packed with Special Attack Card - card that represents bottom the half. When Special Attack Bakugan is spinned onto the field, for the scoring you add both score from Character Card and Special Attack Card.
