Plot

Magnus has absorbed the V Virus infected Core Cell and is on the run, it's up to everyone to stop Magnus before he causes destruction or spreads the virus on the surface world. The Awesome Ones alongside Riot and Tripp ask Emily about Magnus' whereabouts, but she doesn't know anything, including Magnus' mission to get the Core Cell.

Benton Dusk tracks down Magnus, who is on the run to absorb the Core Cell that is inside AAAnimus Inc. Magnus spreads the V Virus to the AAAnimus Bakugan and causes them to go rogue. Philomena finds out Magnus is the perpetrator and tries to stop the Bakuzon Army until Magnus appears.

Philomena battles Magnus with her Apollyon, but Magnus counters with the power of Titan Nillious. The AO, Riot, and Tripp arrive to tell Philomena that Magnus is using the power of an infected Core Cell. Tiko is controlling Magnus to get the Core Cell that is under government surveillance at AAAnimus HQ, he starts to say that he will give the Core Cell to Tiko so he can rule Vestroia. Dan tries to get through Magnus by talking about Emily, but Tiko's control is too much, claiming he is Tiko's loyal servant. Magnus attempts to absorb the Core Cell but the AO intervene by sending out their main partner Bakugan, but Magnus creates a black goo cloud to prevent them from stopping him. Dan and Drago call out to Magnus for help, but Magnus continues to absorb the Core Cell for Tiko, can Dan and Drago stop him?
