Dartaak was originally planned as a ''[[Bakugan: New Vestroia|New Vestroia]]'' release under the name of "Dart Dragonoid". It was delayed for unspecified reasons and instead released in the fourth wave of ''Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders''.
Dartaak is available in four different Attributes. The [[Ventus (Legacy)|Ventus]] version has 780 + 70 Gs. The [[Darkus (Legacy)|Darkus]] version has 860 + 40 in BakuBoost and 680 + 70 in BakuTriad. The [[Haos (Legacy)|Haos]] version has 700 + 90. The [[Aquos#Legacy|Aquos]] version has 650 + 50.
