Some Character Cards and Evo Cards ability/effect may show the symbol of the BakuCore such as {{FistIcon}} or {{MagicShieldIcon}}. A Character Card could have an ability that says "{{FistIcon}}: +200 {{Power}}", which means if you land on as long as this Bakugan is holding a Fist BakuCore, then your Bakugan {{FistIcon}} it gets +200 B-{{Power}}.
''[[Bakugan: Armored Alliance]]'' introduces sixty-nine more BakuCores, keeping the five Core designations from Battle Planet. BakuCores also underwent a redesign, now more resembling their Takara Tomy counterparts from ''Battle Planet''. These Cores can be mixed and played alongside Battle Planet Cores.
