Platinum Bakugan are all Core, either new ones introduced in the season, or older types from ''[[Bakugan: Geogan Rising]]''. Geogan Rising Bakugan also have extra painting applied in places that were originally unpainted. Some [[Factions]] of Platinum Bakugan use new color schemes: Blackblack/Purple purple for [[Darkus]], Redred/Yellow yellow for [[Pyrus]], Light Bluelight blue/Blue blue for [[Aquos]] (flipped normal colors), Dark Greendark green/Lime lime with Dark Red dark red highlights for [[Ventus]]. Haos and Aurelus come are unchanged.
