The Drome is a part of of brawling in Bakugan Battle Planet. It is activated by a brawler yelling a phrase similar to, "Drome Up!" This creates a translucent dome with a base that contains various BakuCores. Only children who were born after the Great Collision are able to activate the Drome, and activating it pushes any non-brawlers out of the area. While it is not necessary to activate the Drome to brawl, or even activate a Bakugan's monster form, activating the Drome causes any damage that happens during the brawl to be reverted back to normal after the Drome is closed. Activating the Drome does not stop time. In Geogan Rising, following the original Drome becoming unstable, causing Bakugan to disappear after being defeated in battle, Kazami International Holdings develops a new Gate Card System in the form of gauntlets which have the ability to set up portable Dromes at will without the risk of Bakugan disappearing again.
