Core Bakugan are Bakugan that do not have any special features. Most Bakugan are Core Bakugan.

Despite Core Bakugan appearing since the very start of the franchise, the name was only introduced in Gundalian Invaders, in form of BakuCore.
In Generation 3, Combine and Brawl feature is present in all Bakugan. Because of that, non-Special Attack are considered Core, despite having more functionality than just opening from/closing into ball.
