Gigan Taures is one of the tallest Bakugan in BakuTech Series. As it occupies a small area of the Gate Card, where a Critical attack can be avoided. Moreover, it's equipped with the BakuTech Convert System that its Gold Metal Sole and Normal Cross on the tail can defend other opponent's Bakugan attack. It also has an unusual default color scheme for a Haos Bakugan which is black and gold instead of pale grey and gold accents. It can have 540 Gs.

Etymology
The Kanji in the Japanese name of Gigan Taures, 巨 (kyo), means great or gigantic.
Trivia
- Gigan Taures is the first Haos BakuTech to have Soles.
- The concept art of Gigan Taures is originally Destroy Munikis concept art. In the concept art, it has two Crosses on its arms instead of only one on its tail.
- Gigan Taures ver.9.25 is the first BakuTech Exclusive to be only made of plastic.
- Gigan Taures has a unique color scheme for a Haos Bakugan with predominant black instead of white. However, its W-Armor version in BCV-21 features Gigan Taures in the standard BakuTech Haos color scheme.
