Etymology
The Kanji in the Japanese name of Kal Lukan, 狩 (On: shu/Kun: ka-ru), means to hunt, whose kun'yomi is also the origin of 'Kal' and 'Lukan'. 'Lukan' may be also derived from Kukulkan, a Maya feathered serpent deity.
