In episode 1, a Ventus Fly Beetle was used by Lync Volan. Mylene Farrow also has an Aquos Fly Beetle. Mylene's Fly Beetle was thrown out when she thought that it along with Freezer and Jelldon were "useless garbage". In episode 7, a Subterra Fly Beetle is seen battling a Haos Atmos. In episode 8, a brawler used a Subterra Fly Beetle against Shun and Ace during the Alpha City Bakugan tournament.

Trivia

• Fly Beetle is the only Bakugan used by Lync which does not resemble the form of a bird.
• It has a slight resemblance to Unknown Insect Bakugan in Bakugan form.
• Its appearance is based on the Japanese rhinoceros beetle.
• It is one of the few Bakugan in the anime to never use an Ability Card.
