- Shape Fury Bakugan are not the first type of non-spherical Bakugan, with Dartaak and Zeon Hylash from the third season of Generation 1 being the first implementation of a non-spherical design on a standard Bakugan. This does not count items such as Bakugan Traps or Mechtogan, as those came with a different categorical designation.
