Maxotaur doesn't express emotions and speaks in a low grumbling almost inaudible tone. He charges his opponents like the wild beast that he is. He willingly takes orders from China Riot, as it fits his mentality of "do now, ask questions later," if you even bother with questions at all. Though painfully sharp, his horns are a point of weakness.

Maxotaur appears as China Riot's partner Bakugan. During her brawl with Lia Venegas, and eventually the rest of the Awesome Ones, China uses Maxotaur and the surprise platforms on the field to catch her opponents off guard and limit their accessibility to BakuCores. With the help of her platforms, China and Maxotaur handily defeat Lia, and per the contract, Lia has to give Gorthion to China.[1]
