Age of Aurelus is the first [[Card sets in Bakugan Battle Planet|Battle Planet card set]] to have an official pre-release event. There are currently seven scheduled pre-release events across the United States. Upon paying for entry at one of these events ($40), each participant will be given a pre-release kit that contains [[Bakugan Resurgence]] [[Starter Set]] and a locally determined number of Age of Aurelus card packs.
