Additionally, certain Bakugan from earlier seasons of the Reboot that were not released, such as Ventus [[Cyndeous Ultra]], will be released during this season. [[Cubbo]] also saw a large rerelease with new "costumed" variants.

This season continues the trading card game by introducing the seventh [[Reboot]] card set, [[Secrets of the Geogan]]. This set introduces a new card type: [[Geogan Card]]s. The set [[GG]] follows Secrets of the Geogan.

With the release of the new [[Geogan]], ''Geogan Rising'' introduces several new products. Many of these products continue the trends from previous seasons such as the Starter Sets and Single Packs, however with the addition of Geogan more products have been created to sell the new toy piece.
This season introduced two capstone products: [[GeoForge Dragonoid]] and [[Ultimate Viloch]]. Unlike previous seasons, ''Geogan Rising'' contains a product for the villain, as well as having the capstone's respective cards be included in the base [[GG]] card set, as opposed to their own exclusive set.

The Bakugan show will continue for a third season with a total of 52x11min episodes per segment; and it began airing on January 24th 2021 on Teletoon Canada.
The show also became available Netflix on April 15, 2021.
