Everyone is excited with the surprise arrival of Mira and Willda. Meanwhile, exiled King Zenoheld has had Professor Clay develop a new weapon called The Bakugan Termination System, which is designed to destroy all Bakugan; however, in order to power the system he must possess the attribute powers of the Six Ancient Soldiers. Zenoheld challenges the Ancients to a battle and even manages to get the upper hand. In a desperate move to avoid losing their powers (which would subsequently bring about the extinction of the Bakugan), the Ancients transfer their attribute powers into Drago, Elfin, Ingram, Willda, Percival and Nemus. These new energies cause the Bakugan to evolve. Now possessing the memories of the Ancient Six, the Bakugan and their Brawlers realize that it is up to them to stop Zenoheld's wicked plan to conquer the known universe.|- style="text-align: center; background: #f2f2f2"| id="ep28"|28| style="text-align: left"|"Revenge of the Vexos"<br />"Crime and Punishment" (罪と罰, Tsumi to Batsu)|September 14, 2010|November 14, 2009

Meanwhile, Baron finds himself flirting with the idea of moving out, as his family home is getting more crowded by the day. While on a trip with his siblings to the park, he and Nemus are ambushed by Hydron and his Mechanical Bakugan, Dryoid. A fierce battle ensues, but Nemus and Baron are no match for their Vexos opponents. Hydron walks away with Nemus' Haos Energy as his trophy. They quickly decide to head for Vestal, with the help of Dr. Michael's Dimension Transporter. Meanwhile, Zenoheld dispatches a probe from the BT System to New Vestroia. Once there it emanates Dimension Rays that cause the Bakugan to revert to their ball form where they remained trapped. Just as the gang are about to head to Vestal, the Dimension Transporter's system picks up anomalous readings from New Vestroia. It is decided that Shun will split off from the group and head there with Ingram to investigate. When the pair arrive there they are greeted by Skyress who fills them in on what's happening. Before long, Lync shows up and a battle for the Vestus Energy breaks out. Unfortunately, Ingram's new powers are a source of anxiety for him and cause him to battle poorly. Skyress steps in for him and sacrifices herself, forcing Ingram to quash his uncertainty and embrace his evolution. Zenoheld decides that the only solution is to lure the Brawlers off of Vestal and back to Earth. He immediately dispatches Shadow Prove who quickly picks a fight with Alice. In the meantime, Volt has challenged Gus to a Battle in an attempt to win back Brontes. Gus agrees to the fight with the ulterior motive of trying to get Volt to leave the Vexos and join he and Spectra. In the end, Volt is unsuccessful at defeating Gus, just as Gus is unsuccessful at getting Volt to betray the Vexos. Zenoheld takes over the brawl and nearly has his clocked cleaned as well until Professor Clay suggests a strategy that would defeat the power given to the Bakugan by their Battle Gear, but that would also potentially destroy Zeonoheld's Mechanical Bakugan, Farbros. Zenoheld goes for it and Farbros is indeed destroyed, but not before scoring a victory and taking the last remaining Attribute Energy from the Brawlers. With a fully functioning BT System hours away from being on-line, the Brawlers are faced with the reality of losing their Bakugan forever.|- style="text-align: center; background: #f2f2f2"| id="ep42"|42| style="text-align: left"|"Exodus"<br />"To My Dearest" (親愛なる者へ, Shin'ai Naru Mono e")|December 18, 2010|March 20, 2010

Time begins to run out and in a desperate bid to leave no Bakugan behind, Drago pulls the BT System out of the ground and soars into the atmosphere with it. As the System powers up Drago manages to drain all of the Attribute Energies from it, leaving it shattered in a million pieces and himself, evolved yet again. Once he drops back to terra firma Drago is greeted by his loving friends, the Brawlers. However the celebration is short lived when Spectra tells them that he is no longer battling by their side, and Helios confirms that his grudge against Drago is stronger than ever.|- style="text-align: center; background: #f2f2f2"| id="ep43"|43| style="text-align: left"|"Phantom Data Attack"<br />"To an Unknown Future" (未知なる未来へ, Michi Naru Mirai e")|December 25, 2010|March 6, 2010

With everyone game to do some practice Brawling the gang enters the Bakugan Interspace system, where they encounter a group of strange and unfamiliar Bakugan. It appears that they want to battle but have no Brawlers to work with. Marucho makes a digital avatar/clone of Baron for the real Baron to battle with. Things seem to be neck and neck until the Avatar Baron pulls out some Battle Gear and proceeds to wipe the floor with the real Baron. He sends a telepathic message to Dan, challenging him to a battle...a "final battle" between Drago and Helios. Fed up with having Spectra's quest for the Ultimate Bakugan hanging over his head Dan accepts and the fight is on. This fight is as fierce and bombastic as they get and throughout it looks like either side could take the win, but ultimately the victory goes to Drago. As a result of the defeat, Helios finally concedes that Drago is indeed the number one Bakugan. Even more surprisingly, Spectra decides to retire the mask and return to being Keith as he asks to join the Brawlers' team.|- style="text-align: center; background: #f2f2f2"| id="ep45"|45| style="text-align: left"|"Fusion Confusion"<br />"Figures of Happiness" (幸せのカタチ, Shiawase no Katachi)|January 15, 2011|April 3, 2010

They stage a battle in Bakugan Interspace to gather crucial battle data on Drago. Keith offers to be the opponent and dawns his Spectra mask again. Because Drago is fighting with a hybrid fusion version of the Battle Gear, his body begins to reject it causing him great pain. He is soon ambushed by Hydron, who has been dispatched by Zenoheld to make Volt pay for his "betrayal". The two battle it out with Volt emerging victorious.
