A Critical KO is a gameplay element from the HSP Card Game and BakuTech Card Game. To achieve a Critical KO, a player must knock an opposing player's Bakugan off of a card, either an HSP Card or a Gate Card, and then stand their own Bakugan on the same card. This counts as an automatic win for the standing player.

This mechanic was dropped during later iterations of the game with the Gate Card Game, but were retained with the BakuTech ruleset.
