The '''Gauntlet''' is a large bracelet-like device developed by the [[Vestals]] to simplify [[Bakugan]] brawls. Because they are the only thing capable of bypassing the dimension waves emitted by the [[Dimension Controller]]s, it is used as the standard brawling device used in ''[[Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia]]'', even outside replacing the [[BakuPod]]s of the [[New VestroiaBakugan Battle Brawlers|previous season]] where . As its name suggests, it is worn across the Dimension Controllers were located and even after they are destroyedforearm like a gauntlet.

It was preceded developed by the [[BakuPodVestals]]to simplify [[Bakugan]] brawls and are the only device capable of bypassing the dimension waves emitted by the [[Dimension Controller]]s. As a result, it is adopted by the [[Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance|Resistance]] and their allies as well, even for brawls outside of [[New Vestroia]] (where the Dimension Controllers were located) and even after they are destroyed. It was replaced by the [[BakuMeter]] in the [[Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders|following season]].

The device is operated by pressing a button on the tip, and then the card holder will open. When the command "scan Bakugan data" is given, an area comes out, then the Bakugan is placed on it. Going through Dr. [[Michael Gehabich|Michael]]'s [[Dimensional Transporter|Dimension Gate]] required a Gauntlet, though the Dimension Gate transporter has since been destroyed. It has also been used to hack online systems, so there are likely a myriad of technological uses for it aside from brawling.

On top of being used for Bakugan brawls, Gauntlets can also be used in actual hand-to-hand combat. By using a certain type of [[Ability Card]], the Gauntlet will project a wide thin beam of energy the length of a long knife, which can then be adjusted as the user desires. It was first used during the final battle between [[Spectra Phantom]] and [[Dan Kuso]] in the finale of the first arc. Later, this function was used by [[Mylene Farrow]] to attack [[Mira Fermin|Mira]] and [[Spectra Phantom|Spectra]], and by [[Gus Grav]] to attack Zenoheld.

It functions as a calculator but also has a G-Power boost button, allowing the user to receive a randomized G-Power boost instead of the Gate bonus. It included three Ability Cards, one of which was the exclusive card Gauntlet Blast, which allows players to receive both the Gate bonus ''and'' the G-Power boost. Due to the unpredictable nature of the G-Power boost button, the Gauntlet was banned from tournaments.

The Gauntlet was rereleased re-released early in Gundalian Invaders' toyline due to the fact that since New Vestroia was still airing when the Gundalian Invaders toyline was first released. There were only minor changes, such as changing the Ability Cards to match the new style of cards, making the Gauntlet a lighter grey, and changing the graphic on the screen so that it looked more like it did in the anime. It also included a code that could be redeemed in ''[[Bakugan Dimensions ]]'' to receive BakuCoins.
