'''Anubias''' was an antagonist in ''[[Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge]]'', and an artificial being created in the likeness of a [[Gundalian]] by [[Mag Mel]] to serve him. To this end, he antagonizes [[Dan Kuso]] in [[Bakugan Interspace]] and gains a following in [[Team Anubias]]. Although he comes to view Dan as a rival and grows obsessed with defeating him, he never has a chance to truly do so, as his powers are ultimately reabsorbed by Mag Mel and he ceases to exist.
He was a [[Darkus]] brawler, and his [[Guardian Bakugan]] was Darkus [[Horridian]].
