When Dan and Eva when to the help of someone that send a distress call from the Forest, they weren't able to reach the place of the call because the Flying Platforms weren't online, so they needed a device to power it up.

After getting a Pyrus DNA Fragment from some unknown hurranian scientist, they crossed a giant grass bush, and finally found the Hurranian Battery, and they were able to power up any normal Flying Platform.
