Dan and Wynton find the location of the Mind Core Cell , with Drago and Trox sensing the Maze. Dan and Wynton fight over the BakuCore so they can evolve their Bakugan when Pandoxx and [[Col. Armstrong Tripp|Colsuddenly appear. Drago and Pandoxx clash while Dan and Wynton are distracted trying to evolve their Bakugan, but they are unsuccessful, Wynton then uses his device to draw the Core Cells energy, allowing the BakuCore to glow, Wynton throws a BakuCore to activate Ventus Evolution, evolving Trox into Hyper Trox. Wynton tells Hyper Trox to use ''Mega Impact'', which easily finishes off Tripp]], who surprising him. After the battle, Dan wants to try the energy source for himselfdevice, but it breaks, reverting Trox back to his standard form. Wynton gets disappointed and gets angry at Dan because he broke his device.
