Midway through the season, the Gate Trainers were replaced with actual Gate Cards, which replace BakuCores in the simpler toy battling game but are still not used in the TCG. Gate Cards no longer have names or effects, and simply feature the faction bonuses and artwork in the same layout as the legacy series.
