Unlike previous seasons, ''Bakugan: Geogan Rising'' only has two major card sets. Both of these sets have only been made available in conjunction with toy packs, following the continued struggle for distribution faced by the previous year's distribution problems.
The major card sets from ''Bakugan: Geogan Rising'' are:

*[[GG]]
In addition, a minor card set, [[CP]], was also released, containing character cards associated with the Costume Cubbo line.
This season introduces a new mechanic for the Trading Card Game - [[Geogan Card|Geogan Cards]], which replace the active Bakugan for the turn and act as a re-roll card.
