A Banned Card is a card, or sets of cards, that were not usable in competitive brawling formats. While there were not any strictly banned cards in North American formats (i.e. Baku-Con and the Bakugan Battle League), the Japanese official brawling scene had some restrictions, such as restricting certain Gate Cards, and Ability Card combinations.

Fixing card text
To be used at Sega events, the card Flare Trinity would have to have its text slightly altered.
<code>Your Bakugan gains G-Power based on its Attribute. If 3 of your Bakugan are Flare Dragaon, Kilan Leoness, and Gran Panzer, your Bakugan additionally gains 100 G-Power.</code>

North America
In the Bakugan Trading Card Game, there are two different releases, Spin Master and Sega Toys. Due to differences in Bakugan stats and card bonuses, in official Spin Master matches, only Spin Master cards are allowed, and the Sega Toys versions are banned.
