This article is a guide on How to Play the Bakugan Generation 3.0: Toy Battling Gamegame. This version of the game is similar to the original Bakugan game and the Generation 2 Toy Battling Game with several key differencsdifferences.
The Bakugan 3.0 Toy Battling Game has several levels of play, in which each one the players bring 3 Bakugan figures (1 must be a non-Special Attack Bakugan) and 2 Gate Cards. A Starter Pack is the best option for those who want to play the Toy Battling Game.
Level 1(Beginner Brawler)
The Level 1 or "Beginner Brawler" version of the game is a race to see who can open the most Bakugan first, it is the simplest game mode in the franchise.
"A Bakugan battle is a head to head contest between 2 players. Where each player gets 3 Bakugan figures. The simplest way to play is to see who can roll or spin their Bakugan and transform the most creatures. The player with the most transformations wins!"
Before playing each player needs to bring 3 Bakugan figures, at least one of which must be a rolling Bakugan(non-Special Attack), and 2 Gate Cards. To set up each player sets their 2 Gate Cards face up to form a 2 by 2 map. Once the map is set up you're ready to begin!
To play each player first selects one of their Bakugan to roll or spin and then they count down "3, 2, 1, Bakugan Brawl!", they then launch their Bakugan simultaneously. The first Bakugan to open wins.
Level 2(Intermediate Brawler)
In the Level 2 or "Intermediate Brawler" version of the game players compete to see who can win 3 rounds first.
"Bakugan battles are won and lost based on score. Every Bakugan comes with a Character Card, and Special Attack figures also come with a Special Attack Card that helps determine score. Your final score depends on your Bakugans Scoring potential and where your Bakugan lands on the Gate Card. To win a the battle you must beat your opponent in a brawl with each of your 3 Bakugan." Before playing each player needs to bring 3 Bakugan figures, at least one of which must be a rolling Bakugan (non-Special Attack Bakugan), The 3 Bakugan's Character Cards, 2 Gate Cards, and the Special Attack Cards of the Special Attack Bottoms you're using if any. To set up, each player sets their 2 Gate Cards face up to form a 2 by 2 map, and then sets their Character Cards and any paired Special Attack Cards next to the matching toys. Once all the cards are set you're ready to begin and there is a clear path away from the Cards, you are ready to begin.  To play, each player first selects one of their Bakugan to roll or spin and then they count down "3, 2, 1, Bakugan Brawl!", they then launch their Bakugan simultaneously. If only one Bakugan is standing on a Gate Card the one standing wins. If both Bakugan stand on a Gate Card then you compare scores, the Bakugan with the higher score wins. If neither Bakugan is standing on a Gate Card then both players roll or spin again. A Bakugan's score is based on what scoring zone of the Gate Card they land on. Each Bakugan has 3 scores, Heart "Red Power", Fire "Green Power", and Spark "Blue Power". You determine your Bakugan's score by comparing the zone it is standing on on the Gate Card with the Bakugan's Character Card, adding the Special Attack Cards score if you used a if your Bakugan has a paired Special Attack Card. The highest score wins the round. The winning Bakugan remains open and cannot be used again in that battle, while the losing Bakugan is closed and can be used again in future rounds. To win the battle you must win 3 rounds (one with each of your Bakugan). ==Level 3 (Master Brawler/Advanced Play)==In the Level 3 or "Master Brawler/Advanced Play" version of the game, players will compete to see who can win 3 rounds first, but this mode of game introduces Brawler Cards.
Before playing each player needs to bring The requirements for this version of the game are 3 Bakugan figures, at least one of which (1 must be a rolling non-Special Attack Bakugan) alongside their corresponding Character Card, The 3 Bakugan's Character Cards, 2 Gate Cards, and the Special Attack up to 6 Brawler Cards of the Special Attack Bottoms you're using if any. To set up each player sets Each Brawler should shuffle their 2 Gate deck of Brawler Cards and put them face up to form down in a 2 by 2 map, and then sets their Character Cards and any paired Special Attack Cards somewhere they are out of the way of rollingpile. Once all the cards are set you're ready to begin!
"Each Brawler should place 2 of their Gate Cards face up in Similar to the battle area, forming a 2 by Level 2 grid." "Once you have that done set your 3 Character Cards paired with their Special Attack Cards if necessary/Intermediate game, next to the matching toys. Then Brawlers roll or spin their Bakugan onto the magnetic Gate Cards at the same time."The Bakugans score is partially based on what area (Scoring Zone) on the Gate Card they land on. In Master Brawls, each player will also flip over and play a card off the top of their Brawler Deck to look for bonuses before the scores are tallied.
To play each player first selects one of their Bakugan to roll or spin and then they count down "3determine your Bakugans score, 2reference the symbol (Heart, 1Fire , Bakugan Brawl!", they then launch their Bakugan simultaneously. If only one Bakugan is standing on a Spark) from the Gate Card , find the one standing wins. If both Bakugan stand corresponding value on a Gate the Character Card than you compare scores, add that number to the Special Attack Card (if a Special Attack Bakugan with the higher is being used), then add your Brawler Card value to figure out your total score wins.
