* Shuji was the first character to use a Double Ability, albeit before the term "Double Ability" was established.
* Shuji is the character we see use biggest number of different attribute Bakugan in season 1, that being 4 — he used Darkus, Subterra, Ventus and Haos. Second place is shared by [[Alice]] and [[Klaus]], who both have used 3 different attributes each.
