Runo is very focused, not your typical pre-teen girl. She loves playing a tomboy who enjoys [[Bakugan]] with brawling and detests those who underestimate her friends. Runo is always arguing with for her friend [[Dan]]gender. She has uses a close bond with very aggressive playing style for her Guardian Bakugan, Haos [[Tigrerraattribute]], who is very obedient to (which occasionally lands her into trouble) and powerful in battle. One of the things she hates the most is tends to get into arguments quickly, especially when people believe they're better at brawling than her, just because she is a girl. She loses a lot of her it comes to [[BakuganDan Kuso]] to the or [[Doom DimensionJulie Makimoto]]. It stems from her headstrong, proud personality that makes her want things to a point where she almost quit the game, but she then decided not go her way and toget attention from others.

Runo is arguably the most headstrong heroine throughout the four series In spite of Bakuganthis, as she always wants to have her own way in everything, wants attention from people, and often attacks head-on before carefully judging the situation. She is also very proud and is eager to go her own way. Despite having certain, undeniable flaws, Runo is shown to be a caring, and kind and cute girl individual who always tries her very best in everything and never slow to help surpass her friendslimits whenever she can. As time passes between When she loses a large amount of Bakugan to the seasons[[Doom Dimension]], she seems becomes upset enough to have grown more maturenearly quit brawling.

In ''[[Doom Dimension Throwdown]]'', she and [[Mira]] attempt to go to [[Volcano Island]] to search Dan and the others, and [[Julie]] wants to join them, but before they even have a chance to leave, they die due to [[Mechtavius Destroyer]] destroying [[Bakugan City]]. Because the Brawlers went through the [[Current of Time]] in ''[[Blast From the Past]]'', this event was reversed. They were revived in ''[[The Beginning of the End]]''.

Runo is a [[Haos]] [[Battle Brawlers|Battle Brawler]]. Her [[Guardian Bakugan]] is [[Haos]] [[Tigrerra]], a white tiger-like Bakugan. When [[Tigrerra]] evolved, she became [[Blade Tigrerra]]. Runo often attacks her enemies head-oninstead of devising strategies to beat them, which is sometimes a problemlands her into trouble. She rarely works with strategy, but when she does her enemies are in serious trouble.
