→Baku-Gear Card
Baku-Gear are a gameplay mechanic and feature that were introduced in Bakugan: Armored Alliance.
Information
Baku-Gear are auxiliary pieces to Bakugan that function, both in the show and the physical game, to give them a power boost or advantage. Most take the form of weapons, with many Bakugan having specific specialized Baku-Gear designed for them.
Anime
Baku-Gear debuted in the Bakugan: Armored Alliance anime. They replace Evos for an unknown reason. Brawlers are able to access Baku-Gear by using special Baku-Gear BakuCores and these only appear when a Bakugan B-Power reaches to 50.
Physical Game
Baku-Gear can be obtained through Bakugan Ultra + Baku-Gear or Baku-Gear Packs, but they are only cosmetic and cannot be used in the card game. Despite them coming in different Factions, they will always come with a random Baku-Gear Card. The Baku-Gear Cards are what provides the bonuses in game.
Each Baku-Gear comes in three pieces: a magnetic transforming piece that goes on the Bakugan's back similar to Battle Gear, as well as two peg attachments that fit in the peg holes found on all Armored Alliance Bakugan. All Bakugan from season 2 onwards can equip the peg attachments, but only Ultras can equip the main piece.
Gameplay
Baku-Gear Card
Baku-Gear Card
These cards function as Ability Cards, and are added to your deck. To play them, its Faction must match the Faction of at least one of the Bakugan in a player's deck and must be placed underneath the Bakugan's Character Card you choose to play it on, so that the Baku-Gear's additional B-Power and Damage are visible at the bottom.
Dual Baku-Gear
Dual Baku-Gear
Certain cards contain the keyword symbol for "Dual Baku-Gear", which, when played, allows the player to utilize two Baku-Gear on a Bakugan instead of one.
