Ready To Rampage is the second episode of Bakugan (2023). It aired on Netflix on September 1, 2023, alongside Fire In The Sky.
Plot[edit]
Dan Kouzo and Dragonoid shocked the Brawling world after being the first kid and Bakugan to pair together, and also shows Drago has the ability to grow larger. Tia Dee interviews Drago and asks how Dragonoid grew, but Drago doesn't know how the process occured. Drago and Ventri comment on a legend believed as a myth that Bakugan could grow larger. More reports that Bakugan can only grow into giants when paired with a kid (Brawler), and Drago isn't the only Bakugan who can achieve this. The bond between Brawler and Bakugan have generated some sort of device (which resembles a Ripcard from the physical Bakugan toy game).
The pairing of Brawlers and Bakugan has changed the face of Bakugan Brawls forever. Card technology formed huge battle arenas, leading to Brawlers and Bakugan teaming up with each other. Additionally, B.A.M. Zones (Bakugan Ability Modification Zones) have been introduced in the battlefield, activated by a Brawler to increase their speed, recover health, and gain strength.
Dan is with his friends, rewatching the news report about Bakugan over and over, reminiscing about their battle with Nillious. Dan realizes he is good at something for the first time in his life. Dan and Mia have a Bakugan battle but it is interrupted by Chip, who is in charge of stopping Bakugan Brawls. Dan and Mia respond to Chip that Bakugan are harmless, but their conversation is interrupted when commotion is heard in the background, two rampaging Bakugan (a tarantula and Octogan).
Dan, Griffin, and Mia arrive at the scene to find two Brawlers who explain they were battling until their Bakugan got possessed by some weird energy that led to them to start rampaging through the city. Dan and Mia ride their Bakugan to stop the possessed Bakugan. The tarantula Bakugan throws cars at Drago, but Dan and his friends realize the military have showed up to stop the Bakugan. Dan and Drago fly across the city to stop the two Bakugan, Ventri defeats Octogan and Drago defeats the Tarantula Bakugan. The city is saved, but the military arrives to take the two Brawlers with the possessed Bakugan into questioning.
The General arrives in the meeting room, telling the Mayor that he believes the pairing of Bakugan and kids flipped a switch and turned those Bakugan into dangerous, mindless monsters. In light of this tragedy, the Mayor has decided to ban Bakugan Brawls worldwide, with the military forming a task force to further enforce the laws. Dan and his friends find out about this, but Dan refuses to let the police stop him and his friends.
