Information

Bakugan: Armored Alliance is the next season of the Bakugan reboot. Notable introductions include Baku-Gear, which are similar to BakuNano and Battle Gear from the original series. The Gate Trainer is also introduced, which functions like a Gate Card but appears to be cosmetic, but it helps players to learn how to roll their Bakugan.

In addition, the packaging style has changed to a gray color, BakuCores have been redesigned, and Bakugan now have their respective Faction symbol printed on them.

Baku-Gear

Baku-Gear is the spiritual successor the BakuNano and Battle Gear in the reboot, all new Bakugan in this season have hexagonal holes to attach Baku-Gear. Baku-Gear come in two parts, one has peg attachments and another has magnet attachments. The magnet attachments work on the Bakugan Ultra, and peg attachments go inside the hexagonal holes on the Core and Ultra Bakugan.

Baku-Gear are available from Baku-Gear Packs, which replace Battle Packs from Bakugan Battle Planet. Baku-Gear Packs contain 2 Bakugan Ultra, 1 Baku-Gear, and 2 Core Bakugan. Bakugan Ultras can also be found in Baku-Gear Single Packs, which act similar to the Combat Sets from the original series. They contain a Bakugan Ultra and Baku-Gear in its native Faction.
