Taran (タラン, Taran?) is a character of the manga and anime series, BakuTech! Bakugan, by CoroCoro Comics. His Partner Bakugan is Barri Beyond.

Taran is a young man with violet hair in spider style, lilac trousers, black shirt and red tie, he likes to analyze battles by using special technologies, usually his glasses. He uses Aquos Barri Beyond.

- Taran's appearance appears to be more Darkus than Aquos in purple outfit.
- Befitting his hairstyle, his name may have originated from the Tarantula, a species of spider.
- His spider-like ponytail is seen to move around like the legs of a spider whenever he is infuriated. When he was electrocuted by Elec, his spider-like ponytail appeared to also have bones.
