Ryo (リョウ, Ryou^?) is a Darkus brawler who prefers creating battle strategies for other brawlers than actual brawling. Ryo decided to actually brawl after Dan almost broke his computer and Masquerade then recruited him to help defeat Dan. He brawls Dan and defeats him, but once Dan reunites with Drago, he loses to Dan in a rematch.

During the final battle against Naga, a news reporter questions how the Bakugan came to life. Ryo insults the reporter and exclaims that the Bakugan are not toys.
