Etymology[edit]

The Kanji in the Japanese name of Jiba Fudo, (Goon: ji), means magnetism. "Jiba" is derived from the Japanese for magnetic field, 磁場 (jiba), while 'Fudo' is derived from the Japanese for immovability, 不動 (fudō). Also 'Fudo' ( as a name) means the God of wisdom and fire .

Trivia[edit]

  • Jiba Fudo was once named Black Tiger (黒虎, Kokko?)[1] tentatively.
