A Starter Set is a product that contains forty Ability Cards as well as one Bakugan Ultra and two Core Bakugan.
Starting in Armored Alliance, Starter Sets where given the Bakugan Pro branding as was every other product related to the Trading Card Game.

List of Starter Sets[edit]
This set allows players to play the trading-card aspect of the game. It comes with one Bakugan Ultra, two Core Bakugan, six Bakucores, three Character Cards, and forty Ability Cards. It is priced at $29.99 (USD).
The cards are the same in every package, so the forty card deck inside is the same for every Pyrus Hydorous Ultra Starter Set for example. The cards are great for players looking to start playing the game, more cards can be received from Booster Packs.
Bakugan: Battle Planet[edit]
Two waves of Starter Sets were produced for Battle Planet; one for Battle Brawlers and one for Bakugan Resurgence.
